STAR TREK III/IV: “ADMIRAL KIRK COSTUME LOT”

Record summary

A lot of costume elements featured in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, and later in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home .This lot consists of plum-colored trousers with stitched in chevrons in the ankles, a black elastic waist. A salmon-colored long-sleeved shirt featuring an asymmetrical button front and a ray patterned inverse triangular chest emanating from a silver colored button on the right side. Both the shirt and the trousers denote moderate fading either from use in both features or use in ‘water tank’ scenes in “The Voyage Home”. A sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reading ‘William Shatner' appears in the shirt but a similar tag in the trousers reads ‘DBL’, and an original costumer’s tag reads ‘Kirk II, II, & IV’.
