STAR TREK: DS9 “BAJORAN MINISTER TORAN JACKET” FROM “PROGRESS”

A costume item featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Progress”; wherein a farmer and his friends refuse to leave their dwelling on one of Bajor's moons even though it is going to be made uninhabitable because of a plan by the Provisional Government to use the molten core to generate energy. This item is for wear by Michael Bofshever as “Minister Toran”, it is a black, long-sleeved jacket featuring a copper-colored zigzag pattern on the top portion of the garment, an oddly shaped, wraparound flap on the front that attaches with snaps, Velcro, and clasps. A sewn in Deep Space Nine tag reads ‘ Alan Schwartz’ denoting reuse but a costumer’s tag reads ‘DS9 #415, Minister Toran, Michael Bofshever’.
