STAR TREK: TNG “DEANNA TROI EVENING DRESS” FROM “MAN OF THE PEOPLE”

Record summary

A dress featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Man of the People”; wherein “Deanna Troi” (Marina Sirtis) starts to behave jealously and inappropriately after conducting a “funeral rite” with an ambassador named “Ves Alkar” who is set to settle a fierce civil war. This dress is the one that “Deanna Troi” was wearing when she confronts one of “Alkar’s” aides in Ten Forward and “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) has to take her back to her quarters; it is a long-sleeved, full-length, sheer, black mesh dress featuring glittery purple floral pattern, zip cuff adjustment, aesthetic holes cut in the dress on the shoulders and larger ones along the hips, a sewn in bra, a zip up the back with snaps hidden by the design. The item has a few small holes due to time and storage but is it very good condition which is impressive considering its age and how fragile the dress is.
