STAR TREK: VOY “USS VOYAGER EPS RELAY” FROM “RELATIVITY”

A prop EPS Relay (Electro-Plasma System Relay) featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Relativity”. The item appeared on screen with “Seven of Nine” (Jeri Ryan), “B’Elanna Torres” (Roxanne Dawson), and “Captain Braxton” (Bruce McGill). The item is composed of machined letal, acrylic, and plastic with internal electronics powered by four C-cell sized 1.5volt batteries held internally in a handmade block that should power the two light bulbs housed at the base of the opaque acrylic ends. The three position switch should activate the item; it is believed that the batteries no longer maintain power since the items’ on screen use. The item measures approx. 18 X 6.5 inches diameter. The item also appeared as a magnetic constrictor in "Caretaker", the pilot episode of the series in engineering while worked on by "Captain Janeway" (Kate Mulgrew).
