STAR TREK: DS9 “USS DEFIANT ENGINEERING SYSTEMS CONTROL BOARD” FROM “THE ADVERSARY”

A large LCARS style (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) panel appearing in episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine like “The Adversary”. The item is from the engineering set of the “USS Defiant” sharing screen time with “Chief O’Brien” (Colm Meany). The item is a sheet of smoked acrylic shaped to fit an inset display with a graphical application applied to the reverse that is best viewed when back lit by an external light source. The item features two attitude/pitch controls on the left and right extremes and two points of highly detailed system display depicting a dorsal and port side cross section of the ship itself revealing the location of the main bridge, landing struts, the warp core, the computer core, navigational deflector, shuttlepod bay, and more. The item features multi-colored faux buttons indicator lights, readouts, and graphics, some inscribed as ‘PRSNL COMM’ and ‘OP Data’. The item measures approx. 24 X 91 inches with screw holes for mounting and only minimal scuffing due to time and storage conditions.
