COSTUME SKETCH OF RICARDO MONTALBAN AS “KHAN” FOR STAR TREK: THE WRATH OF KHAN

Record summary

(Paramount, 1982) Sketch of Ricardo Montalban in character as “Khan” – perhaps the greatest villain in the entire Star Trek universe – wearing the distinctive open-chest tunic with armbands, heavy “fatigue” pants, and large desert boots as worn throughout the film. Accomplished in gouache and ink on a 14 ½ in. x 23 in. sheet of artist’s illustration paper, and signed by Robert Fletcher at the lower right. A fantastic piece of Star Trek production artwork from the moment this legendary costume was first conceived!
