STAR TREK “FEATURE-STYLE STARFLEET TRAINEE PETTY OFFICER UNIFORM”

A costume style first appearing in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn and continuing to be in use through the opening sequence of Star Trek: Generations. This costume consists of a long-sleeved, full-length, red jumpsuit featuring a tan yoke, black piping, a red ribbed collar and sleeve cuffs indicating the wearer to be a trainee, with belt loops on the front. Included is an unattached Sciences gray shoulder division strips, a cuff strip denoting the wearer as a Trainee with Sciences intent, a copper-colored, pin-backed metal Starfleet insignia badge, a metal, octagonal, badge with grooved accents radiating out from the middle, set on red fabric denoting the non-commissioned rank of Petty Officer 1st Class, a silver-colored, gold-trimmed metal pin-backed badge featuring the name “MOONSAFI”, and a pair of black “Puma” athletic shoes with red accents of the Starfleet insignia with wear from time and storage that make them rather fragile.
