The item is reflective silver colored fabric bordered by white fabric with red rubber tubing fitted into positions along the face. The item was affixed to a costume on either of the thighs. White threads remain from costume removal, the item measures approx. 6.25 X 5.25 inches. The red tubing indicates wear on the uniform of a trainee engineer; characters of this grade appeared in Star Trek II and VI.
