STAR TREK: ENT “ARMORY PLASMA CONTAINER SET DRESSIING”

Record summary

A piece of set dressing featured within armory scenes in various episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. This item is a large, polished metal, capsule-shaped “plasma container” and was part of a collection of similar containers which were affixed to a wall in the set; all able to be disconnected from their corresponding wall mounts through the use of a latch which wraps around the container. The item features a trio of graphical applications; a ‘danger’ style triangle colored red and white, two matching rectangular inventory style applications featuring red warning labels reading ‘Danger, High-Temp Plasma Flow’ with instructions about how to handle ‘exposure’, and a warning about the ‘dangerous’ elements held within. Even though the container never held anything that we know of it maintains a top mounted screw on cap which when removed reveals a closed opening, covered over with black grip tape. The item measures approx. 22.5 X 9 X 9 inches when connected.
