STAR TREK IV “ADMIRAL KIRK CIVILIAN COSTUME”

A costume featured in the fourth Star Trek feature film ”The Voyage Home”, for wear by William Shatner in the role of “Admiral James T. Kirk”. The costume consists of a long-sleeved, pink shirt featuring an asymmetrical button front, a ray patterned inverse triangular chest emanating from a silver colored button on the right side, a placket zip down the front, quilted cuffs with Velcro adjustment; plum-colored trousers with a strip of black vinyl across the waistband, ankle cuffs quilted in much the same way as the wrist cuffs, and similar Velcro adjustment. Also included is a long-sleeved jacket of a slightly lighter shade of plum featuring further black vinyl accents, quilting on the cuffs, and loops for a black vinyl belt minus the buckle. The jacket has sustained minimal damage in the form of tiny little holes possibly due to time and storage or production use like set sparks. A sewn in Western Costuming tag in both the trousers and shirt denote use by William Shatner but the jacket has no tag.
