STAR TREK IX: “INVISIBLE PHASER” FROM CHAPTER “SECONDARY PROTOCOLS”

A prop Starfleet Type II phaser featured in Star Trek IX: Insurrection for use by Starfleet personnel in red cloaking suits during the beginning of the movie. The item is made from sturdy molded rubber with multiple raised features, a firing button that depresses slightly, and an adhered emitter end. The emitter end depicts a degree of repair (re-adhered) and the item is painted entirely red. A series of visible cracks which are not unusual to molded rubber hand props run along the curvature of the hand grip, and around many of the raised edges. The item is unique in its coloration and retains its value for its specific use. The item measures approx. 8 X 2 X 2 inches. The item is rigid, bends slightly when attempted, and gives minimally when pressed.
