(NBC-TV, 1966-69) Costume design sketch of Captain James T. Kirk in his famous wrap-around bridge tunic as worn in the alternate universe in the memorable Star Trek episode, “Mirror, Mirror.” Beautifully detailed and rendered in the likeness of actor William Shatner, this sketch is noteworthy in that it is the only drawing of Kirk known to emerge from the entire estate of William Ware Theiss. Accomplished in ink on a 9 in. x 12 in. sheet of artist’s illustration paper.
