SLEEP SUIT COSTUME FROM THE STAR TREK ORIGINAL SERIES EPISODE “SPACE SEED”

(NBC-TV, 1966-69) “Sleep Suit” worn on the “Botany Bay” spaceship, constructed of a gold mesh fabric. Unidentified, though it is possible that it was used by Ricardo Montalban in his role as “Khan” judging by its size. This costume is one of the jewels of Star Trek couture, and was used in one of the most exciting episodes-----an episode which spawned the second and arguably best Star Trek film of all, “The Wrath of Khan”.
