THE NEXT GENERATION: KLINGON FEK'LHR COSTUME

Featured in the episode “Devil's Due” the Enterprise crew are faced with the task of defeating a con woman masquerading as the devil of an alien culture. While attempting to prove her point she not only appears as “Ardra”, but the mythological devils of the Klingon species, The Fek’lhr. Fek’lhr’s padded pants have been made out of artificial fur with significant padding to the buttocks, thighs and calves. Red, gold and brown imitation hair has been added down the back legs from the waist to the ankles. Random strands of brown hair have also been applied over other areas. Velcro openings are present at the back and down each leg. On the top part of the body is a foam body harness with a rough texture, giving it a burnt look that was worn over the shoulder and around the waist. The accompanying leather boots have been modified to look like beastly feet, achieved by covering them in synthetic fur and attaching a mane of gold, red and brown synthetic hair to the heels.
