Vulcan mummy from the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise

Record summary

(Paramount TV, 2001-2005) This impressive Vulcan mummy was used as set dressing in the ancient catacombs beneath the Vulcan P’Jem monastery in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “The Andorian Incident”. The mummy is made of hand-carved foam wrapped in case, and mounted on a wooden board which has been extensively weathered by the studio, and features a gold insignia at the top. The Vulcan pointed ears are quite prominent. Note: two similar mummies sold at the Christie’s Star Trek sale in October, 2006; however, neither of those was as detailed as this one, which is a purpose-built Vulcan mummy. The overall craftsmanship of this display suggests it was used for close-up or foreground shots. Stands fully 6 ft. 8 in. tall.
