STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE “ERIS” VORTA COSTUME

From the episode “The Dominion” of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, “Eris” (Molly Hagan) was the first ‘Vorta' ever seen by representatives of the ‘Federation’. The genetically engineered administrators of the tyrannical ‘Dominion’ of the ‘Gamma Quadrant’ were made to worship their leaders were gods and to command the tireless shock troops of their government. “Eris” pretended to be a prisoner until ‘Quark” (Armin Shimerman) saw through her plot to become a spy aboard ‘Deep Space Nine’ and she ‘beamed’ away. The costume is comprised of a brown asymmetrical jacket that clasps across the belly with leather and patchwork components, a cream and brown shirt with print, and tan and black spotted pants. The permanent label is inscribed ‘Molly Hagan’.
