Medallion From "Star Trek 30: One Weekend On Earth"

Record summary

2 7/8" diameter medallion made by Paramount Pictures commemorating the 30th anniversary of Star Trek. On one side is the starship Enterprise. On the other side is "Star Trek / One Weekend on Earth / 30 /1996" followed by a calender, with the weekend of Sept. 7 and 8 circled, followed by a small starship. The celebration took place at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The event was attended by all the casts and crews. It would be the last time all eight original series cast members would be on stage together and the last time Star Trek's licensing arm mounted its own convention.
