STAR TREK: VOYAGER “JANEWAY” DISTRESSED CIVILIIAN COSTUME

Being trapped in the Delta Quadrant left “Captain Janeway” (Kate Mulgrew) few opportunities to get her crew back home, however, some became available. When “Q” (John De Lancie) appeared on the ship explaining that a war had broken out within the ‘Q Continuum' he took her to a setting that was based on the American Civil War where she was placed in a Civil War era dress. The dress consists of a gold and brown tapestry dress and jacket with black lace frills and brown ball tassels, white buttons, a brown velvet belt with a clasp, and a degree of distress in that there exists a hardly noticeable spattering of special effects blood on the left breast. The interior Voyager tags read ‘Lynn Salvatori’, a stunt woman who also portrayed “Antonia” in Star Trek VII: Generations. The costumer’s tag is inscribed ‘Kate Mulgrew/Lynn Salvatori, #153, distressed’ meaning that the costume was used in the episode “The Q and the Gray”.
