Data (Brent Spiner) was an android from Star Trek: The Next Generation who was the only one of his kind to ever enter Starfleet. A highly sophisticated machine, Data tried may activities to emulate human behavior including painting. This great paint set belonged to Data and was seen throughout the Star Trek: The Next Generation series. Set on a square board painted metallic gray on the front and metallic bronze on the back. Attached to the front of the palette is a silver mixing dish in the center with blobs of dried paint and twelve bottle caps around the edge all with colorful dried paints in them. A small plastic mixing/water cup is in the top left corner and a piece of gray plastic piping is on the left to hold the assortment of five brushes. Data appeared to have used several different pallettes during Star Trek: The Next Generation, this one was found with a label inscribed 'Data's paint set'. Palette measures approx. 12 x 12 inches.
