STAR TREK: DS9 “ISHKA” FERENGI COSTUME AND ACCESSORIES

“Ishka” (Cecily Adams) was a Ferengi on the Deep Space 9 series. She was the mother of “Quark” (Armin Shimerman) and “Rom” (Max Grodénchik) who played an integral role in reforming Ferengi society in the 24th century in regards to the roles of females. This elaborate costume starts with a female padded bodysuit that zips at the back and has stirrups at the feet. A matching cumber band is then worn around the waist. The jumpsuit worn over the top is made of velvet in psychedelic colors with built in feet. The bust line, neck and cuffs are all highly decorated with colorful plastic beads and jewels and there is a zip up the back. The last layer is a sheer pink sleeveless robe covered in raised plastic jewels. Down the front is sheer black trim with gold stitching and more jewels. Matching high heel shoes accompany the costume also decorated in plastic jewels and gold colored trim (several of the jewels are missing). To accompany the costume is an orange Gianni Versace handbag with jewels and tassels and a sheer pink scarf inside. The final accessory is the famous Ferengi lobe jewelry made of gold colored metal that drapes in two chains between the lobes. As a bonus there is a bag of spare fabric used to make the robe. The inside costume tags read “Deep Space Nine, Cecily Adams” and the costume comes complete with costume tags.
