STAR TREK: DS9 “DR. BASHIR – STATISTICAL PROBABILITIES” PADD

A cast resin PADD (Personal Access Display Device) featured in the episode “Statistical Probabilities” of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Handed to “Jack” (Tim Ransom), a genetically enhanced augment by physicist “Karen Lowes” (Jeannetta Arnett) at the top of the episode, this item features the shattered image of a ‘biographical database' and file photo of “Dr. Julian Bashisr” (Alexander Siddig) who shared genetic enhancements. Jack, having rejected the concept of being left in the care of a doctor, far from his home at the institution, violently ‘shattered’ the item then scraped it along Lowes hand, cutting her. The PADD is a companion to an ‘intact’ version of the same prop, this one features a ‘shattered’ application with a ‘broken’ piece of clear plastic; the break lines are expertly scraped in and special effects blood is still present. The back of the item features a 24th century inventory application applied to this resin prop. The item measures approx. 11 X 8.5 X 0.25 inches.
