STAR TREK: TNG “THE TRAVELER – WHERE NO ONE HAS GONE BEFORE” COSTUME

Record summary

A costume presumably worn by Eric Menyuk in his portrayal of “The Traveler” in the episode “Where No One Has Gone Before” of Star Trek: The Next Generation. When a strange alien comes on board the “Enterprise-D” to aid a Starfleet engineer in a warp field test only “Wesley Crusher” (Wil Weaton) notices The Traveler's strange abilities. As the test gets underway the ship is taken far beyond any expected distance to a place “Where none have gone before”. As Wesley and The Traveler become friends they form a bond that will last through many future episodes. His costume is made from a fabric that is horizontally placed on the chest, while being vertically inclined on the sleeves and pants. The fabric is silver, gray, and black wood patterned. The collar of the costume appears to have been cut out or unfinished and, indeed, the costumer’s tag reads ‘The Traveler, Eric Menyuk , Where None Have Gone Before, Top and Pants, Don’t know if used’.
