Record summary
“Mr. Homn” (Carel Struycken) was “Ambassador Lwaxana Troi's” (Majel Barrett) attendant who made his first appearance in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Haven”. This is his gong that he struck every time Lwaxana Troi did anything he considered significant including eating! The gong is made of an octagonal piece of clear acrylic with silver tape strips applied to highlight the segments. The triangular frame is made of metal with clear acrylic cylinders on each spoke to complete the look. One of the leg stands has been lost to time however the gong still stands independently. Measures approx. 10 ½ x 9 x 5 ¾ inches.
