STAR TREK: VOYAGER “FRIENDSHIP ONE” TOXIC WAISTCOAT - DISTRESSED

Receiving their first mission from Starfleet Command in seven years, “U.S.S. Voyager” tracks down the long lost “Friendship 1” probe and finds it have had the most unfortunate circumstances in making contact with an alien race. While entering the atmosphere of a world in the Delta Quadrant the unmanned space probe released its radioactive core while breaking up and poisoned the entire planet below. The inhabitants thus suffered centuries of radiation poisoning and toxic debris and altered their wardrobe accordingly. This full length distressed costume coat includes patchwork details made to appear as though it had been repaired multiple times utilizing native materials and snap buttons. The multi-colored features depict ages of use in a world fraught with danger and ecological harm. The corresponding gas mask and gloves have distress to match the rest of the costume. The costumer's tag and a sewn in “MTO Little, Los Angeles’ tag indicates use in the episode “Friendship One” of Star Trek: Voyager.
