STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN – CADET ENGINEERING PROTECTIVE SUIT DISTRESSED

Record summary

This intentionally distressed jumpsuit is from the brilliant second Star Trek feature film “Wrath of Khan” and was used in the sickbay scenes after Khan (Ricardo Montalban) attacked the U.S.S. Enterprise. The lined off-white engineering protective suit has a padded target motif on the chest that has a metal center. The sleeves and waist also have padded bands with an extra red and gold band around the left sleeve denoting rank. A metal disk has been attached to the left side of the chest for detail along with two triple-hole metal rings for safety equipment. The outfit has a Velcro and snap combination at the back and a small zip at the front to allow the wearer to use the bathroom without taking the outfit off! Each pant leg has white elastic stirrups at the bottom. There are additional plastic attachments on the front and side for detail as well as an ‘Able Seaman' square metal rank pip on the lower left sleeve. A padded red collar is also included with plastic attachments for detail. There is burned distress to a large percentage of the suit, most notably on the right sleeve, right leg, left chest and back. The accompanying tags read “Daniel Wong – Cadet” and “Sickbay”.
