STAR TREK: PROP AXE

A prop axe featured variously in Star Trek episodic television made from a metallic painted handle and ‘blade'. The handle appears to be a metal rod, when in reality it is a plastic pipe with filling at the hilt painted to appear aged; the ‘blade’ is made to appear tied onto the pipe by way of leather strapping, and is shaped like a sharpened axe blade with notches cut out of the bottom and a point on the opposing end. Measures approx. 30 X 15 inches.
