STAR TREK: TNG “DARMOK – TAMARIAN” COSTUME - FEMALE

The “USS Enterprise” responds to a signal sent by an enigmatic alien species who speak only in metaphor, the ‘Tamarians'. Unable to communicate with the aliens, “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) is transported to the surface of a neutral world with “Captain Dathon” (Paul Winfield) of the alien ship where their mutual experiences on the planet lead to an open dialogue between their peoples. This ‘Tamarian’ costume is an example of their uniform, a pair of leather reptile patterned pants with a shirt that has matching sleeves and a shirt front with counter balancing green leather components. The costume comes with a multi-color striped vest with leather elements, beaded inset holes on the right breast where existed placements for metal and gem accent badges were placed (a selection of badges have been included), as evidenced by the remaining stitching. The uniform also features a leather belt and harness with sheath, metal accents and copper colored metal strips where the belt snaps together. The sleeves of the jacket feature ornate yellow embroidery with metal badges sewn on. All of this was featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Darmok” as evidenced by a corresponding costumer’s tag.
