STAR TREK: INSURRECTION RED ISOLATION SUIT LOT (1 DISTRESSED)

This costume style was seen during the opening scenes of the Star Trek feature film “Insurrection” and is a Starfleet Federation “Isolation suit” used by Starfleet to make the wearer practically invisible while conducting an anthropological survey of the Ba'Ku. Characters who wore this style of costume include “Data” (Brent Spiner” and stunt performers. The first item is a red jumpsuit worn by the stuntman “Mark De Alessandro” that has a rubber neckline, a Velcro waist for the rubber belt to attach and stirrups for the feet and thumbs to hold the fabric taut. The suit comes with a red plastic helmet, red rubber boots that have slight dirt and distress to the back and red gloves. In addition is a second red jumpsuit that has notable distress to the back. This jumpsuit however comes with two red “cloaking devices” attached to the chest and right sleeve, each with sequential red LED lighting triggered by small buttons. An additional belt and pair of gloves is also included.
