STAR TREK: VOYAGER “LIVE FAST AND PROSPER – ZAR” COSTUME

A ‘fake' Starfleet command red division uniform jumpsuit featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Live Fast and Prosper” for wear by “Zar” (Francis Guinan), an alien con man who ‘admitted’ aliens into the ‘Federation’ by accepting payment. His costume is a mock up of a standard Starfleet uniform and he used it to portray “Voyager” first officer “Commander Chakotay” (Robert Beltran). It is a dark gray uniform jumpsuit with command red division shoulders and an oversized Maquis provisional rank pin depicting ‘lieutenant commander’, with an oversized resin Starfleet combadge painted metallic silver and gold. The gray yoke turtleneck is attached to the costume itself and not a separate. The costumer’s tag reads ‘Zar, Francis Guinan, Fake Chakotay look’, and the costume comes with a second oversized provisional ‘lieutenant commander’ rank pin.
