STAR TREK: VOYAGER “HEROES AND DEMONS – FREYA”

A costume featured in the holodeck episode “Heroes and Demons” of Star Trek: Voyager in which “Voyager” crewmembers are trapped within the holodeck and “The Doctor” (Robert Picardo) is the only one who can save him, and on his very first ‘away mission'! This is the costume of “Freya” (Marjorie Monaghan), a shield maiden and daughter of the king in the “Beowulf” program. Her amazing period costume is made up of a pair of tan pants with brown leather strip wraps, a pair of light yellow woven shirts with a rustic quality to them, a pair of knitted tabards glazed with a top coat of silver paint to make the garments appear as chain mail, they feature affixed metallic studs. The costume comes with a brown leather belt with studs, a long flowing cape with a gold hue to it, and a special effects knife hilt that affixes and screws into a brace worn under the costume made to appear as though the wearer had been stabbed. The sewn in tags and associated costumer’s tags indicate wear by Marjorie Monaghan who also appeared in the television series “Babylon 5”.
