STAR TREK: DS9 “IMAGE IN THE SAND - CAPTAIN SISKO PADD”

This Personal Access Display Device (PADD) was featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Image in the Sand”. “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) was seen holding this PADD looking at an image of a woman he believed to be his mother but whom later turned out to be a Bajoran Prophet. The PADD is a maroon colored plastic casing over an actual light screen with multicolored applications to simulate buttons and for detail. The screen is blank and doesn't appear to work although it does have a battery compartment. The show sequence in which the PADD was shown used special effects to project an image onto the PADD. Measures approx. 13 ¾ x 11 inches.
