A holoprogram used by “Captain Janeway” (Kate Mulgrew) of the “U.S.S. Voyager”, ‘Da Vinci's workshop’ was a place of amazing constructs and even more impressive ideas. Portrayed by John Rhys-Davies, “Leonardi Da Vinci” worked alongside “Janeway” asking life’s questions and attempting to solve them. “Da Vinci” appeared in several episodes like “Scientific Method” and “Concerning Flight”. This is his wooden paper press believed to have been used as set dressing on the Da Vinci set. It has a solid wood frame with a turning handle through the center and wooden press plate attached. This centuries old style is used to make homemade sheets of paper from paper pulp. Measures approx. 14 ¾ x 9 x 12 ¼ inches.
