STAR TREK: TNG “SUNAD, ZALKONIAN COMMANDER – TRANSFIGURATIONS” COSTUME

The Zalkonians are an advanced humanoid species native to the planet Zalkon and featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Transfigurations” in which many were beginning to evolve themselves into powerful non-corporeal life forms. This costume was worn by the Zalkonian warship commander “Sunad” (Charles Dennis) who stopped the U.S.S. Enterprise to try and extradite the Zalkonian fugitive referred to as “John Doe”. The gray jumpsuit has long woven gray sleeves and a zip up the back. An ‘armor' top made of black vinyl with a silver hieroglyphic pattern and a gray woolen center section. The ‘armor’ zips up the back. Around the neck is a black leather dickie that has a substantial amount of makeup remaining on the underside left over from filming. The accompanying hat is black vinyl with silver print, a square chain mail style band and a black peak. Costume comes complete with costume tag.
