STAR TREK: GLASS BAJORAN PANEL

The Bajorans are a humanoid species native to the planet Bajor and were seen throughout the Deep Space Nine series as well as in various episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager. This incredible glass panel, presumably used as set dressing, features the official emblem of the Bajoran people in smoked glass. The oval design is bisected with a multi tiered bar down the center and a spiral disk at the bottom. Around the rim are Bajoran runes. The piece is given a three-dimensional quality with the star field applied on the reverse surface of the glass. It fills in the negative space within the emblem as well as forming a sweeping base at the bottom of the panel. The base appears to have an artists interpretation of the Bajoran Wormhole incorporated into the design. Measures approx. 60 x 28 inches
