STAR TREK: TNG “ROMULAN SOUP WOMAN – UNIFICATION, PT I” COSTUME

Record summary

The Romulans are a warrior civilization from the planets Romulus and Remus who founded their Romulan Star Empire two thousand years ago. This costume was worn by a “Romulan Soup Woman” (Mimi Cozzens) in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Unification, Part I”. She served soup to a Romulan disguised “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and “Data” (Brent Spiner) in a small café on Romulus but did not trust they were from Rateg as they claimed. The costume has olive green stretch pants and a yellow leather top with a brown embroidered diamond motif. There are also four slits around the bottom. Due to time and storage the top has patches of discoloration. Worn over the top is a primarily red, orange and brown patterned robe with intentional holes under the arms. The costume is complete with brown woolen socks and a costume tag.
