STAR TREK: TNG “BARKONIAN MAGISTRATE – THINE OWN SELF” COSTUME

The Barkonians are a pre-industrial species from the planet Barkon IV who came into contact with their first alien when “Data” (Brent Spiner) landed on the planet to retrieve radiation fragments from a fallen probe. “Garvin” (Michael Rothhaar) was the local magistrate on the planet who developed radiation poisoning from the probe but was later cured by Data. The tunic is vintage red with a stitched pattern, cream colored ruffles at the cuffs and collar and pleats around the body. An elaborate band wraps around the torso. Worn over the top is a long sleeveless red, copper and black robe with a spiral design and a red velvet tabard that hangs down the back. The tabard ends in a point with decorative jewels and miniature pompoms. Costume comes complete with costume tag.
