STAR TREK I: “ADMIRAL KIRK – CLASS-B UNIFORM”

A costume featured in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture for wear by William Shatner during his portrayal of “Admiral Kirk” in the sequence during which the ‘V'Ger’ entity sends a plasma based probe to the “USS Enterprise”. The costume is a cream colored short sleeved shirt with visible threads from an unavailable, removed patch on the left breast and gray colored trousers with attached shoes. Both garments feature sewn on Western Costume Co. tags; the one in the shirt is inscribed ‘William Shetner’. The costume also comes with a pair of unattached command division rank strips with embroidered work indicating the wearer to be a ‘captain’, and an unattached plastic bio-monitor. A small hole is visible on the left trouser leg front and a series of small blotches are visible on the front of the shirt at the waist.
