STAR TREK: DS9 “KLINGON MA'STAKA – YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED”

When “Worf” (Michael Dorn) and “Jadzia Dax” (Terry Farrell) were to wed in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “You are Cordially Invited”, the men invited to travel on the four day path of the “Kal'Hyah” were each presented with a Ma’Staka. They are pugil sticks used in Klingon weddings and are carried until the end of the ceremony where they are then used to attack the bride and groom. This Ma’Staka has a curved wooden handle painted brown with a black leather wrap attached to make the handle. The head is padded brown suede with black suede strips forming an ‘X’ on the top. Measures approx. 37 x 6 x 5 ½ inches.
