STAR TREK IV: “STARFLEET COMMAND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER”

A costume featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by the “Starfleet Command Communications Officer” (Michel Snyder). The costume is one of the iconic feature films style maroon Starfleet uniforms with black trousers and a sleeveless white command division ribbed collar shirt. The uniform features no division stripe on the trousers, but an affixed shoulder division strap and sleeve strip both colored gray with white accents. The shoulder strap features a silver and gold colored metal badge indicating the wearer to be a ‘lieutenant's’ rank corresponding to the matching one on the sleeve which is attached to a rank placement. The jacket features black nylon interior lining with an off-white lining under the double-breasted front, the black trim on the front features silver colored metal chain detail between the snaps. One of the black front belt loops is unattached but included with the costume. The jacket features a sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reading ‘Michael Snyder’.
