STAR TREK: DS9 “VERTERON NODE”

A large spherical item created for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine appearing during scenes in which starships traveled through the ‘Bajoran Wormhole'. The item is a translucent sphere mounted on a metal rod affixed to a wooden base with uniquely shaped foam ‘growths’ adhered around the item, all painted metallic silver. Several of the ‘growths’ on the top of the item have broken away but are present and were not repaired in an effort to retain the item in its condition as located. The item measures approx. 27 diameter inches and 33 inches tall and comes in a wood crate built specifically for the item.
