STAR TREK: DS9 “THE DOMINION – QUARK CAMPING OUTFIT”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “The Jem'Hadar” for wear by Armin Shimerman in his portrayal of “Quark” while having secured a way into camping out with “Commander Sisko” (Avery Brooks) and son in an attempt to convince him to allow for certain advertising rights back on the station. Soon, the campout goes awry when an alien shows up and her pursuers lock the entire group inside a cage for study. The costume is a long sleeve gold knit shirt with brown polka dot pattern, a cropped sleeved green shirt, a multi-colored, multi-patterned vest with a red and gold theme, and a tan and yellow patterned sleeveless jumpsuit. The right sleeve of the green shirt is slightly ‘burned’ either due to purposeful distress, or a fire stunt performed onscreen in which “Quark’s” sleeve catches on fire due to the campfire. The costumer’s tag reads ‘446 DS9 “The Dominion”, Quark, Armin Shimerman, camping outfit’ and lists the components. The sewn in Deep Space Nine tags in the shirts and jumpsuit read ‘Armin’. “The Dominion” was the show’s working title.
