STAR TREK: VOY “LORD BURLEIGH HOLOGRAM COSTUME” FROM “CATHEXIS”

A costume featured in Star Trek: Voyager episode, “Cathexis”, wherein “Commander Chakotay” (Robert Beltran) is drained of all neural energy and lays brain dead in sickbay. The costume is for wear by Michael Cumpsty in the role of Lord Burleigh, a character from one of “Captain Janeway's” (Kate Mulgrew) holodeck programs in which she plays Governess to the Lord’s children, and is a long-sleeved, white, pleated dress shirt featuring brown and tan stripes, buttons halfway down the pleats, larger button in collars to tie on two gray/blue striped cravats, a corresponding gray vest with a black, intricately embroidered floral pattern, and satin lining; a bluish gray, long-sleeved, suit coat with traces of red and green in the stitch, four-button cuffs, corresponding trousers, and stirrups for the feet. A sewn in tag reads ‘Voyager, Michael Cumpsty’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘107 Eye of the Needle, Lord Burleigh, Michael Cumpsty’. The costumer’s tag states the costume is from “Eye of the Needle” when “Memory Alpha” and “Trekcore.com” reveal it as a mistake and that it is actually from “Cathexis” and appears again in “Persistence of Vision”.
