STAR TREK: VOY “ABBOT COSTUME” FROM “SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME”

Record summary

A costume featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Someone to Watch Over Me”, wherein “Voyager” was engaging in a cultural information exchange with a strictly regimented people known as the Kadi. This costume is for wear by Ian Abercrombie in the role of the Kadi official assigned to choose an ambassador for the exchange, “Abbot”, and is a long-sleeved, full-length, blue-gray, robe with two ties on the collar, five on the abdomen, and snaps down the front; a hood that tucks into the collar, a three-pronged metal pin that attaches over the first tie on the abdomen, a tie on each arm, and corresponding overall style trousers. Ian Abercrombie is perhaps best known in the role of the “Wise Man” from the cult favorite “Army of Darkness”. A sewn in tag incorrectly reads ‘Deep Space Nine, Ian Abercrombie' when it was actually Voyager and the costumer’s tag reads ‘216 Someone to Watch Over Me, Abbot, Ian Abercrombie’.
