PROTOTYPE SPACE HELMET FROM STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT

(Paramount, 1996) Hand-scored ABC plastic shell with clear plastic face shield, made for the production and intended for use by Picard and Worf on the outside of the Enterprise, when the Borg attempt to commandeer the Interplexing Beacon. This helmet design was ultimately not used on screen, but was created and presented as one of the designs for consideration.
