STAR TREK: TNG “KLINGON L'KOR COSTUME” FROM “BIRTHRIGHT”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Birthright”, wherein “Lieutenant Worf” (Michael Dorn) learns of and investigates the claims that his father is still alive and “Commander Data” (Brent Spiner) has a “vision” of his creator, “Dr. Soong” (Brent Spiner). This costume is for wear by veteran Star Trek actor Richard Herd in the role of the leader of the Klingon colony “Worf” finds on Caraya IV, “L'Kor”, and is a two-toned vest of grayish brown suede and a multicolored pattern of tiny blocks; a distressed, sleeveless vest with a design of multicolored, textured squares, braided leather accents that end in tassels, and brown leather leggings and gauntlets that both attach with Velcro. A sewn in tag reads ‘Star Trek: TNG, Richard Herd’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘242-3 Birthright 1&2, L’Kor, Richard Herd’. Richard Herd is perhaps better known on Voyager as “Admiral Owen Paris”, estranged father of “Lieutenant Tom Paris” (Robert Duncan McNeill).
