STAR TREK: TNG “DR. JA'DAR COSTUME” FROM “NEW GROUND”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “New Ground”, wherein “Lieutenant Commander Worf's” (Michael Dorn) son “Alexander” (Brian Bonsall) comes to live with him and the “Enterprise-D” assists in the testing of a new method of interstellar propulsion, the “soliton wave”. This costume is for wear by Richard McGonagle in the role of the physicist/engineer who was to test the new form of propulsion first, “Dr. Ja’Dar”, and is a full-length, long-sleeved, brown jumpsuit with a sewn in black, textured dickie and cuffs, diagonal stripes going down from the shoulders, and sewn in half-feet; a full-length, long-sleeved, dark teal colored velvet robe with a textured design of random shapes, two functional pockets, and a wrap around panel that attaches with claps, and satin lining. A costumer’s tag reads ‘#210 New Ground, Dr. Ja’Dar, Richard McGonagle’.
