STAR TREK: VOY “GUARD COSTUME” FROM “MUSE”

Record summary

A guard costume from the pre-industrial planet featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Muse” in which “Kelis” (Joseph Will) was inspired to write a play about the Voyager crew. The costume includes a mauve heavy woven tunic that is made to look intentionally grubby and brown trousers with lacing at the cuffs. Worn around the waist is a gold colored leather corset covered with thin beveled sheet metal and stitched together with crude lacing. A thin harness wraps around the waist and over the shoulder. The corresponding gauntlets are beveled metal over a ridged frame with brown leather lacing up the sides. Costume comes complete with costume tag. According to Memory Alpha, this episode was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Costumes for a Series.
