A one of a kind special effects piece created for the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “A Matter of Honor” in which “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) participates in the Officer Exchange Program between Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force. The item is the outer hull of a Klingon Bird of Prey, the “I.K.C. Pagh”, which had been infected by a microbiotic colony, a rare subatomic life form which eats away at the hull of starships. This item was developed for close up shots and is made from a wood frame, vacuum formed molds with Styrofoam support, and plastic details. The item is green colored with Klingon lettering in two places, multiple raised details, and a centered hole with rust coloring surrounding. This excellent item is suitable for wall mounting and is a piece of modern art measuring approx. 38 X 46.5 X 3.75 inches.
