A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Yesterday's Enterprise” for wear by Christopher McDonald in his portrayal of “Lieutenant (j.g.) Richard Castillo”, helmsman, and later captain, of the “USS Enterprise-C”. The costume is a set of black trousers with a red stripe down the outside seam of the legs, a white long sleeved shirt with a ribbed collar and cuffs, and a maroon officer’s jacket with and off-white interior double-breast, and a degree of separation between the black piping on the snap seal. The costume comes with a black leather belt with a gold colored metal Starfleet emblem buckle, a red placement with an affixed pair of silver and gold colored metal badges indicating the wearer to be a ‘lieutenant (junior grade)’, and a white shoulder division strip with an accompanying unattached metallic silver painted molded rubber ‘security device’ disk, and a pair of unattached silver gold colored metal badges indicating the wearer to be a ‘lieutenant (junior grade). Am accompanying white division strip for the left sleeve is bordered with gold trim and features two affixed gold colored metal commendation bars and three gold colored metal ‘5 year service’ pips, though “Castillo” actually wore only one of each in “Yesterday’s Enterprise”. The sewn in tag in the trousers wears ‘Christopher McDonald’, the other costume elements are tag less except for the belt with features a label reading ‘Jon Horback’.
