A prop item featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Apocalypse Rising” for use by a covert operations away team to infiltrate the Klingon station of Ty'Gokor and expose “Gowron” (Robert O’Reilly) as a shape changing Founder. The item is a hand sized metallic gold colored orb with molded accents to indicate technology. An inset in the top and bottom of the sphere allow it to stand without rolling and a black colored circle is present in one location on the exterior. Loose material internal to the item can be heard when moving the item. The item measures approx. 3 inches diameter spherically except where the insets on the top and bottom are present.
